It's not so easy to start a blog. I've been rewriting and rethinking it all afternoon and evening long. First I didn't know which language to use. French would be most logical as I've been living in Toulouse for a year and a half now. Russian would be most natural as it is my mother tongue. And here I am typing English characters... And then what do I talk about? "Reading Lolita in Tehran"? My husband's "Finis Terrae"? The pants I've finished for my younger son? The lasagne we've just eaten for dinner or the horsemeat scandal in Europe? It all seems weird.
I have to get used to it.

I've started with drawings, paintings, watercolors.. then turned to sewing... photographs... so I was lost... no direction.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your encouragement. Actually, you're right, there are too many things I want to write about and not enough time that I'm ready to spend on it. Besides it feels awkward to start sharing your life with everybody and at the same time, nobody in particular..
